Venezuelans Can Get Axie Infinity Scholarships For Crypto Courses

Venezuelans can get Axie Infinity scholarships for crypto courses as a part of the La Guaira Digital Program that aims to fast-track economic growth and stability in the country as we can see more in our latest cryptocurrency news today.

The gubernatorial candidate from Venezuela promised to offer scholarships for the people interested in joining the Technical Training Center for Mining and Administration of Digital Crypto assets. The aspiring governor Jose Alejandro Teran from the ruling party started the initiative as a part of the La Guaira Digital Program that wants to induce economic stability in the region.

Teran’s training center will provide specialized training for scholarship holders in NFTs, trading, and crypto mining. The drive will be supported by four entities like the National Superintendence of Crypto Assets, Axie Infinity Academy, and the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela. Venezuelans can get the scholarship but also there will be able to choose from “thousand jobs” thorugh the proposal as the governor noted:

“I feel that by helping young people build multiple sources we ensure economic stability for their families. 1000 jobs in a year, write it down!”

Teran promised that the training powered by the Axie Infinity academy will include an installation or repair of networks and mining equipment as well as crypto trading. As per the data sourced by Chainalysis, Venezuela is the seventh country in the global Crypto Adoption Index list. The CEO of crypto investment platform Uphold, JP Theriot said about the growing BTC-based use cases for the Latin American market. As per the entrepreneur, El Salvador’s mainstream BTC adoption has a domino effect in expediting crypto adoption in the surrounding regions like Colombia and Venezuela. Theriot also believes that crypto adoption makes more sense for the smaller economies rather than creating an in-house central bank digital currency.
