Former DigitalX CEO Leigh Travers will not head the Binance Australia office according to the latest Binance news that we have today.
The leading crypto exchange in Australia – Binance Australia announced a new head of the division and his name is Leigh Travers. Travers will be the new chief executive officer while he was previously the CEO and Director of the Blockchain technology company digitalX. According to the official announcement, Binance Australia tapped him as the new CEO of the exchange as he has experience in digital assets and blockchain technology since he was in charge of DigitalX for seven years.

Traves served on the board of Australia’s blockchain industry body for five years and now is a former DigitalX CEO revealed that the new position at the tradign venue coincided with his interests.
Trevors asserted that the goal in mind is to expand the role of blockchain in the next years:
“I’ve long been an advocate of the benefits that blockchain technology has to offer society, and it’s a mission of mine to grow the industry over the coming years. My key interests are shared with Binance Australia in championing the adoption of blockchain and the pathway for blockchain businesses in Australia. In his turn, Sam Teoh who is the Chief Operating Officer at Binance Australia praised Travers as the best choice for Binance Australia:

Binance US as the American branch of the exchange went thorugh some changes as well and at the start of August, CEO Brian Brooks announced his resignation. The 52-year old entrepreneur was in charge for three months only. Brooks didn’t say much but explained that there were many differences over the strategic direction of the exchange but he did wish all the best to his colleagues, assuring that he holds no grudges against the company.

In July, the country manager of Binance Brazil – Ricardo da ros announced:
