Coinbase Custody’s offline storage is now available for all users that are holding the Solana tokens thanks to the new Bison Trails extended integration as we are reading in our Coinbase news today.
The integration allows Coinbase Custody’s offline storage to be available for all Solana token holders on the Bison Trails platform. The integration is designed to improve access to digital assets for the users. Bison Trails announced an extended integration with Coinbase Custody which will provide offline asset storage solutions so all the clients can store SOL tokens on the platform. The integration means that the Coinbase Custody’s clients have a new means of participating in token storage and the practice of staking will become much easier with the integration to be able to participate directly from the interface itself, as CEO of Bison Trails Joe Lallouz said:
“This initiative is a big deal. For Bison Trails, our collaboration with Coinbase Custody furthers our mission of democratizing access to the whole digital asset ecosystem and making it easier for folks to participate.”
Coinbase Custody offers clients offline storage solutions that will be used by the business on the Coinbase exchange since 2012. The service will allow users to store most of the crypto assets in offline and diverse sets of vaults and it is protected by an insurance policy provided by the leading insurers such as Lloyd’s of London.
Bison Trails is an “infrastructure as a service” company which means it will offer other entities to have the chance and to participate in the blockchain technology. the platform will also provide permission for other companies to engage in blockchain networks without having to develop any of the technology that is needed to engage in the chains themselves. The Solana network and creator of the SOL tokens now supports 50,000 transactions per second. The focus on the single-chain proof of stake protocol is on delivering the scalability solutions without diverting attention from the decentralization of security. Sam McIngvale the CEO of Coinbase Custody said:
“We are excited to offer our clients an effortless way to stake on the new networks they care about the most.”
The integration follows the recent collaboration which allows the users to stake Polkadot tokens on the Bison Trails public validators.
