The Binance Employees prefer getting paid in crypto according to the CEO of the exchange Changpeng Zhao as we are reading in the BNB news today.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ) elected not to comment further about the exact percentage of Binance employees that prefer getting paid in crypto rather than fiat but he said this is a result of a change of workplace culture. During these times we saw how the culture of the workplace is changing including working from home and the growth of video meetings around the world as a result. The current situation with the Coronavirus pandemic is forcing us to reconsider our daily lives.
I’m REALLY curious to know what % of employees from Binance did choose to be paid via BNB (when they got option to be paid in BTC or their local fiat) 🧐🧐
That’s a major investment indicator for BNB to be honest @cz_binance @heyibinance any plan to release this 🤓🤓

The primary message that came from authorities was the social distancing and the avoidance of bigger gatherings. While the debates are still ongoing about whether this is a useful tool to solve the problem, one thing is for sure. The workplaces around the world went under many changes as a result of this advice. Most of the companies turned to digital solutions and many companies started reassessing the infrastructure.
The technology advisor Bernard Marr stated that the companies are being forced to reconsider their operations, warning that those who will fail to roll with it will enter a competitive disadvantage:
“Those companies able to use technology well to keep going and rethink their business model for the future by fast-tracking digital transformation will be ones ahead of their competition.”
The transition to remote working was mainly led by technology firms as the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said that a review of the situation indicates working from home and this is not affecting the businesses. That being said, he is happy for the employees to do so:
“The past few months have proven we can make that work. So if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen.”
Twitter is not the only company that sees sense in doing this. With the loss of confidence in fiat currencies, it is only a matter of time when other companies will start paying employees in crypto as a part of this adjustment. Changpeng Zhao (CZ) mentioned the freedom of choice since he believes that everyone should have the choice to be paid in crypto:
“At Binance, we hold the mission of “increasing the freedom of money,” that is to say, everyone on this planet can freely choose and use money (in whether crypto or fiat) for payment, transaction or investment.”
