50% of BTC users across Europe haven’t finished their university program according to the newest research by BitPanda as we can read in the latest cryptocurrency news today.
The new report that is titled ‘’Understanding Cryptocurrency Holders in Europe’’ explores the personalities of men and woman who hold cryptocurrencies and it shows that about 50% of BTC users don’t even have a university degree while 30% only attended school until the age of 18. About 19% of the users have taken a trading or technical course or at least have a college diploma. The people in their 16s and late 24s make up to 27 percent of the overall cryptocurrency traders from Europe.

On the other hand, the people between the age group of 25 and 34 are 33 percent which is the highest in the lot. Some of the senior citizens are not falling behind either while 5% of them are holding some cryptocurrency-mainly bitcoin in their portfolio.
BitPanda says that the survey had included the most extensive samples of cryptocurrency holders in Europe and in the world. Other than their education status and age, the retail broker also included the lifestyle, geographic distribution, media, habits, and marketing of more than 20,000 investors out of which 5,000 were from Europe. BitPanda stated:
‘’While business leader surveys and ad-hoc surveys on cryptocurrency are commonplace now, [our] report is able to draw on a much wider set of data points to paint a more holistic, nuanced picture of the men and women who hold cryptocurrency as part of their savings or investment portfolio.’’
London is not really the crypto valley you would assume but it is still the capital of the Brexit-hit UK with the highest number of bitcoin users at 1,105. This makes up to 11.1% of the total participants from Europe which is three times the average rate which shows that it even exceeds Zurich indicating that Switzerland is a much better place to have a crypto business than the UK. Russia contributes to only 2% of the numbers which is the least by any country as we can read in the coming altcoin news. The full report can be found on the BitPanda website and much more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
